Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026. This policy explains what Reelspan (“we”) collects when you use Reelspan and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and profile picture from Google when you sign in.
- Connected accounts: when you connect a social network, we receive access tokens and basic profile information (account id, name, handle, picture) from that network. Tokens are encrypted at rest and are only used to publish and read the content you ask us to.
- Content you publish: videos, images, captions and settings you send to Reelspan, kept only as long as needed to publish them and to let you retry (7 days after publishing by default), then deleted.
- Usage and security logs: API requests, IP addresses and an audit log of account actions, used for security, abuse prevention and support.
- Billing: payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. We receive subscription status, not your card details.
How we use it
To publish content to the networks you choose, show you results and history, send notifications you configure (email and webhooks), bill your plan, keep the service secure, and answer support requests. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your content to train AI models.
Data from Google and YouTube
Reelspan’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube access is used only to upload the videos you send and to show your channel name. Reelspan uses YouTube API Services; see the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Sharing
We share data only with the networks you publish to, and with service providers that run Reelspan for us (hosting, storage, email delivery, payments, error tracking), under contracts that limit their use of it. We disclose data if the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
Media is deleted 7 days after publishing. Disconnecting a network deletes its tokens immediately. Deleting your workspace deletes its profiles, connections and history. To delete your account or get a copy of your data, email support@reelspan.com.
Security
Platform tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, API keys are stored only as hashes, all traffic uses TLS, and access to production systems is restricted and logged.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to its processing. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
